Amenities

Process

• To create an Amenities movie, you start out using PowerPoint and just use information on the subject you were given and put it onto the different slides. You spice it up using different transitions and shapes ect. If you want to make it even more fun for watchers you could add music to it from a number of free music downloading sites.  Then you have to convert it into an actual movie.  You go to save it and change the type setting to "Windows Media File."  Then you have to upload it to the site were you want it usually using the HTML.  

 Purpose

• We used PowerPoint to create this movie because you can use cool transitions and animations.  This makes it more appealing to watchers.  You can also add color and shapes and cool pictures that go along with your subject. 

•  The purpose of putting an Amenities page on Snowed Inn was to make it easier for people to find.  You get the feel of what the movie is supposed to mean or what it goes along with.  Basically you get more information about why we are making the Amenities movie.  My movie was more relaxing so people feel welcomed and feel as if they can just lay back and have a fun time with no worries.  

Possibilities

•  I think that cool pictures and pretty colors and information that is to the point work well for this assignment.  You want to make sure the font is big and that you can actually see the pictures. If you have small font and tiny pictures people aren't going to want to spend time reading it, it won't capture their attention.  I don't think I would change much except for maybe the music.  I think more people like a more upbeat feel but I enjoy the relaxing sound.  I defiantly think I could create this faster and easier if I was to ever use it again.  However, I think I would have to learn a little bit more about it if I were to train a novice.
