Snowed Inn Amenities Movie

Process

I made my amenities video through Microsoft PowerPoint.  Starting by making a power point presentation, I added images from Microsoft Office and a variety of transitions and animations to make the video more interesting.  My amenities movie consisted of skating and skiing pictures to promote Snowed Inn's skating and skiing facilities  Planet Ice, Skateway Arena, and Snow Mountain. After adding the content I imported music from a band, called Jazz Friends, to play while my movie was playing.  I selected the song from Jazz Friends because I felt that it was professional sounding and it reminded me of elevator music.  

Purpose

I used Microsoft PowerPoint for this movie because it was a very easy and quick tool to use.  Microsoft PowerPoint was much easier than other applications not only because I was familiar with it but because it was user friendly. The amenities page for Snowed Inn helps customers see a list of what types of activities and accommodations the hotel offers.  Without this list the customers may be confused or worried about the hotel.  My amenities movie was calm and relaxing, but very professional.  Customers who view my video will be very impressed with my professionalism and will worry less about my hotel.  

Possibilities 

Microsoft PowerPoint worked very well for my video.  It made my video professional and easy to make.  The thing that didn't work well with my video was the music.  Although the music makes it more professional I should have changed it to more upbeat music to promote how fun and exciting skating and skiing can be.  Other elements, such as color and links, could have made the webpage's content enhanced.  The video was so easy to create that I would love to do it again and teach others to do it as well.
